Flickr Video is alive

It’s been a month since I talked about it, but rumours of Flickr coming live with video have been confirmed. Techcrunch was reporting it yesterday and the feature is available since this morning.

Pro users are allowed to upload videos with a max length of 90 seconds. Videos appear alongside photos with the full tags/geodata/privacy description available. It’s possible for Users (pro and free) to watch the videos either from the thumbnail or from the permanent page and the player can be embedded.

Have a look at ipernity http://www.ipernity.com

Flickr : Yeah, it’s not perfect. But when you’ve been waiting for it a long long time, it’s still a huge progress…. never thought it would finally come !
Ipernity : thanks for the link, I’ll check this out when I’ll have a few minutes to myself. Definitely looks interesting….
